This just in: Most managers manage to lose
Kevin Kennedy's always good for a laugh or to on Fox Saturday Baseball's GOTW...
On Charlie Manuel and the Phillies:
"He's did a great job of managing to win."
As opposed to every other big league manager, who manages to lose. Hey, other managers who "manage to win" are: oh... EVERY SINGLE ONE!
Good analysis though, Kevin. Keep the little nuggets of gold coming.

In regards to the Michigan/Appalachian shocker...
" It really wasn't an upset. If you paid attention to the game, Michigan actually got outplayed!
FIrst of all, no. It was an upset. Some are even calling it the greatest ever.
And second, since when has it become uncommon for the team that WON to play BETTER? I tend to think that teams that have actually won the game, and therefore accomplished the ultimate goal, played better.
Lou also refuses to believe any blame should go towards the coach for the team's lack of preparation.
